Habitat for Humanity is successful because of the many hours donated by our volunteers.  We currently need the following services:

 
Members for the Family Partnership Committee. For anyone interested in helping to prepare Partner Families for home ownership by offering friendship and support; opportunities to develop and strengthen important skills like budgeting, construction and home maintenance. No experience necessary - just enthusiasm! Call the Volunteer Coordinator at 272-0800 if you?re a candidate.

Translators  For anyone who is experienced in translating Spanish or Hmong.  Please contact the volunteer coordinator at 272-0800.

ReStore Customer Service & Sales Assistant:

Details: Habitat ReStore warehouse needs volunteers to help customers with item purchases, organize and stock shelves, and assists with maintenance of the facility. Reports to ReStore Manager.

Time: ReStore hours are 10am-6pm, Mon-Fri and 10am-2pm on Sat.
ReStore Donation Pick up Driver:

Details: Habitat ReStore warehouse needs volunteers to help with donation pick-ups.

Skills: Volunteers must have good driving record, be able to lift at least 50 lbs and work well with others since volunteers work will work in pairs.

Time: ReStore hours are 10am-6pm, Mon-Fri and 10am-2pm on Saturdays, pick up days and hours flexible upon volunteers’ schedules.
Office Assistant:

Details: Provide support to Volunteer Coordinator during business hours by performing general office duties, such as answering the phone, transferring calls or taking messages, faxing, making copies and assisting other staff with administrative tasks. Report to the Volunteer Coordinator.

Skills: Previous office experience preferred but not required.

Time: Habitat office hours are 9am-5pm, M-F, but volunteer hours are flexible depending on the volunteer’s schedule.
