Volunteer »
We offer opportunities to help with all aspects of home building. You do not need to be an expert in construction to help out on a jobsite. There are many tasks that require only a willingness to learn and work with others.
Onsite construction work is the most popular of Habitat's volunteer opportunities. We make every effort to incorporate all willing volunteers regardless of skill level. All volunteers on the jobsite must be at least 16 years of age (and accompanied by a parent or responsible adult age 21 or older). Volunteers must be at least 18 years old to operate power tools, climb ladders or work on roofs. We work rain or shine! It's quick and simple to find out where we have volunteer needs, and to sign up with us for those. Just visit our Volunteer Calendar, find an opportunity that suits your interests and availability, and click the "SIGN UP" button. If you would prefer to do an In Person Registration & Orientation — please email our [ Volunteer Coordinator ] or call 907-272-0800. If you have a group of volunteers, please review the groups page for that process, and as always you can email or contact the Volunteer Coordinator at 907-272-0800 and we can discuss the best way to facilitate your group orientation. We use the information you provide in the Registration to help you determine where your skill would best help us, or to provide you with information on available volunteer opportunities so you can choose where you would like to help out. The information you provide to us is never shared with any other organization or company. Please review our Privacy Policy on this website for additional information.
Thank you for partnering with Habitat for Humanity Anchorage! |
