Volunteer Opportunities for 2008 We are currently working to complete our 32nd and Spenard Townhome Complex. During May and June we are recruiting volunteers, both individuals and groups, to help the three new Partner Families and the nine Homeowners in this complex finish the landscaping, fencing, walls, courtyards, exterior painting and other exterior work by June 30th. Beginning July 7th we will be starting construction of four single-family homes in Mountain View, called our 2008 Tyson Homes Build. Current construction schedule and volunteer needs: June - 32nd and Spenard Townhome Complex 20 volunteers per day Tuesdays - Saturdays - 8 am - 4 pm
Beginning July 7th - 2008 Tyson Homes Build in Mt. View We ask that ALL construction volunteers, individually or in groups, call our Volunteer Coordinator at 272-0800 or email her to schedule your desired volunteer dates. We also ask that volunteers either bring a sack lunch or arrange a lunch for their group; lunches are typically not provided at the jobsite. Soda, generously donated by Coca-Cola of Alaska, water and snacks will be provided. All tools and safety gear are provided and no prior experience is necessary. We welcome volunteers over the age of 16, but youth ages 16 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or a responsible adult 21 or older.
