Donate to Habitat's "Cars for Homes™" Program

Donations via the Cars for Homes™ Program help Habitat for Humanity Anchorage build homes in partnership with families within our community!  Plus donating a car, truck, boat, or RV is quick, easy, and your donation may be eligible for tax deduction purposes if you itemize (consult the IRS or your tax advisor for details).

Depending on the make, model, year and condition, donated vehicles are sold at a wide variety of venues, including wholesale auctions, salvage auctions and parts yards, as well as scrap steel recyclers.  Habitat's processing agent makes the arrangements to have your vehicle, keys and title picked up for processing and prepares all appropriate reports for IRS and donors on behalf of Habitat for Humanity.  Tax receipts are sent to donors within a few days of the sale of the donated vehicle.  

Net proceeds generated by donated vehicle sales are used by Habitat for Humanity - Anchorage to build homes in partnership with low-income families in our community.
